Services

You can renew your Oklahoma registration in person, by mail, or online.
 
To renew by mail, please send the following:

• Renewal card (mailed to you by OTC) or a tag number, title number or VIN.
• Current insurance verification for the vehicle that you are renewing.
• Payment (check, money order, or credit card). If paying by credit card, we must have the account number, name on the card, expiration date, and V-code (3 digit number found on the back of the card).

Replacement Decals:If your tag and / or decal have been lost, stolen, or mutilated, bring in a tag number, title number, or VIN number along with current insurance verification. The fee for a replacement decal is $12.50.

Penalties: After your tag has expired you are allotted one grace month before penalties will incur. For example, if your tag expires in January, penalties will begin March 1st. Penalties are 25 cents per day.
 
Out of State Registration: To register a vehicle from another state, you must bring in the following:

• Out of state title or registration. (If you bring in the out of state registration, your Oklahoma title will be held until you surrender the out of state title).
• Oklahoma insurance – current and valid.
• Lien holder information – name and address.
• Vehicle – for a VIN inspection (If you cannot bring the vehicle, your Oklahoma title will be held until you bring in the vehicle).
